Introducing Friendly Shoes, the UK’s first fully adaptive footwear brand

Designed by an occupational therapist, Friendly Shoes are so easy to put on and take off that they have been called "game changers" by their customers. 

This innovative company is on a mission to make footwear as accessible as possible. Since its launch in the UK in 2021, Friendly Shoes has helped thousands of people who have previously struggled to find shoes that are comfortable, functional and that they’re proud to wear.

What makes Friendly Shoes different? All the shoes are easy to put on thanks to a unique zip opening. Open the zip up wide and slide the whole foot (and an orthotic) in easily. 

As well as being easy to put on and off, the shoes are wide-fitting, have removable memory foam insoles, are sensory-friendly, lightweight, have anti-slip tested soles and are padded and supportive. 

The UK’s first fully adaptive footwear brand is proud to have joined the Healthy Footwear Group, after all its styles (adults and children’s) aligned with the guidelines. 

Friendly Shoes are available in a variety of colours and patterns (from black to pink leopard print!) and sizes (K10 to adult 13) so there really is something for everyone.
